Why We Recycle

It’s so important now more than ever to look after our environment and find ways to help reduce the amount of household items and rubbish we throw away. That’s why we make it a point to recycle as much as possible and through our  three initiative’s  we work together by reducing the amount of rubbish we send to the tip and are aiming to turn that 20% to 10% over the next year!

Facebook  is a great place to sell your items but we don’t sell them, we give 80- 90% of items we collect that are in good condition away for free!. We know that there are people in all suburbs of Melbourne that need a helping hand and we are more than happy to provide our community  with great quality second hands goods both through Facebook and our  our Second chance store.

The second chance store is a place where your items get the opportunity to help someone in your community. We ask for a donation and that donation we provide to our  charity of choice Amaze Australia.

For over 140 years The Salvation Army has been providing hope, opportunity and freedom to Australians and that’s why we are committed to donating only items that are in good condition without tears, stains or nasty smells. Unfortunately items that have been damaged cannot be given to such charities so that’s where the team at Junk Moovaz can help you remove these items quickly, efficiently and best of all at an affordable price.
