Over the last two decades, there have been major changes to the way Australians manage their waste**. Recycling has increased but so has the amount of waste we are generating, including the quantity of hazardous waste.
Unlimited Bins abides by Local, State and Federal Government Regulations from taking any hazardous materials. For this reason, hazardous materials found in the bin will be returned to the customer for proper disposition.
In recent years, Australia has seen significant shifts in waste management practices, marked by increased recycling efforts alongside a rise in overall waste generation, including hazardous materials.
At JM Skip Bins, we prioritize strict adherence to Local, State, and Federal Government regulations governing waste disposal. It's crucial to note that our bins do not accept hazardous materials. Any hazardous items discovered during collection will be returned to the customer for proper disposal in accordance with environmental guidelines.
When selecting a waste type you must ensure that no other types of waste are placed in the skip. If this occurs, you incur additional charges.
Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for additional information.
For safety and legal reasons, bins cannot be filled above the sides of the bins (must be Water Level). If we arrive to collect your bin and it has been overloaded, we may need to remove some items to be able to safely cart the bin away. Overload charges will apply.
The following items are considered to be hazardous materials and are therefore prohibited from loading into our bins. Please feel free to contact us and our experienced staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have concerning items that should or should not be loaded into the bins. We will also provide guidance on the correct method of disposal of such items.
